Taro is a root vegetable eaten in many countries around the world. The root, which resembles a potato with purple markings, is a good source of dietary fiber and vitamin E, which protects essential lipids in the body. Taro chips, also known as vegetable chips, can make a great alternative to potato chips. Dip them in sour cream or salsa for added flavor.

Zucchini is a good source of niacin and thiamine, two B vitamins that help give healthier skin and hair. With the right combination of seasonings, this green vegetable can be turned into a tasty, crunchy and healthy treat! Try dipping slices in egg whites, then coating them in Parmesan cheese, black pepper, and panko breadcrumbs for a tempura-like crunchy treat.
